APEC是亚太经合组织（Asia-PacificEconomicCooperation）英文名称第一个字母的缩写，APEC商务旅行卡（APECBusinessTravelCard）则是亚太经合组织为促进地区贸易投资便利化所作的一项多边签证安排，是APEC经济体相互为其相关官员和商务人员提供多边长期签证和快速通关礼遇而制定的一种出入境证件，具有“省时、省力、省钱、方便、体面”等优势。

APEC商务旅行卡的适用国家或地区

目前，APEC有1个经济体：澳大利亚（AUS）、文莱（BRN）、智利（CHL）、中国（CHN）、中国香港（HKG）、中国台北（TWN）、印度尼西亚（IDN）、日本（JPN）、韩国（KOR）、马来西亚（MYS）、墨西哥（MEX）、新西兰（NZL）、巴布亚新几内亚（PNG）、秘鲁（PER）、菲律宾（PHL）、俄罗斯（RUS）、新加坡（SGP）、泰国（THA）、加拿大（CAN）、美国（USA）和越南（VNM）。

Atpresent,APEChas1Economies:Australia,Brunei,Chile,China,China-HongKong,China-Taipei,Indonesia,Japan,SouthKorea,Malaysia,Mexico,NewZealand,PapuaNewGuinea,Peru,Philippines,Russia,Singapore,Thailand,Canada,theUnitedStatesandVietnam.

其中，美国和加拿大目前为过渡成员，不接受其他经济体的旅行卡，但为其他经济体持卡人提供签证申请及入出境通关便利。中国内地、中国香港和中国台北之间人员往来仍按原办法办理，互不适用旅行卡。

持卡人只能出入批准其旅行卡申请的经济体（以英文缩写字样标注在旅行卡背面）。

APEC商务旅行卡的适用范围

APEC商务旅行卡只适用于以商务活动为目的的国际旅行，不能用于旅游、探亲、访友、看病等非商务目的的活动。

APECBusinessTravelCardisonlyapplicabletointernationaltravelforthepurposeofbusinessactivities,andcan’tbeusedfortourism,visitingrelatives,visitingfriends,seeingadoctorandothernon-businesspurposes.

澳大利亚和新西兰要求申请人只能持一个有效的入境签证，如果持卡人在旅行卡有效期内另外申请澳、新的入境签证，其后发的有效期较短的签证将自动覆盖旅行卡承载的有效期五年的“签证”，使旅行卡签证失效。其他经济体虽未见“签证覆盖”问题的发生，但不建议持卡人另外申请同类签证。
